We define job success as the ongoing process of seeking the most beneficial and productive work situation for yourself.

Maintaining job success includes the process of pursuing individual growth and opportunities within your present employment situation or company, as well as pursuing individual growth and opportunities outside of your current employment situation.

A job search includes all of the information-gathering processes, such as developing and using your network, researching your company or other companies, pursuing additional education and training opportunities for job growth, and participating in ongoing job assessment seminars.

A job search also includes developing the tools used in the process, such as portfolios, applications, cover letters, resumes and interview skills.

The same processes and tools can be used either internally (to improve your current job opportunities) or externally (looking for your next job opportunity). At Promising Futures, we prepare you for your job search by asking you questions about where you are, where you want to go, and what you need to get there. Click on the button below to get started!
